Beginner's Guide to Festival Booking in Central Texas

Playing festivals can be one of the easiest ways to increase your band's exposure and fan base. Many festivals are turning to local talent to enhance their lineups and improve their reputations for new music discovery. If you are represented by a record label or talent agent, submissions to regional and national festivals may be included in your contract. If you do not have an agent or label, the submission process can be overwhelming and confusing. The list below is intended to be a starting point for your festival submission list. There are many more local, regional, and national festivals and this list is in no way comprehensive. This is a good starting point for musicians and bands in the central Texas area.
